This fountain represents the Greek god Apollo in the shape of a bird, wrapped up in a coat while holding a lyre in his hand (a hint to music).
Beside Apollo, the allegoric images of the Four Seasons and Venus’shells are also represented. Made in the XVIII century, the fountain is exalted by the favourable position close to the Prado museum.
